Because we’re strategically located directly adjacent to the prime fishing grounds of Clarence Strait the fishing is always good at Clover Bay Lodge. The season runs from June 1st - September 1st.

Four species of Alaskan Salmon are running strong during our season: Kings, Coho, Pinks & Chum. Our waters are a hot spot for delicious bottomfish too, from monster-sized Halibut to Lincod, Red Rockfish and other species.

Rockfish & Other Bottomfish: All season
King Salmon: Peak- Last Week in June to the Middle of August
Coho (Silver Salmon): Peak- July 15 to September 1
Pink Salmon: Peak- July 15 to September 1
Chum Salmon: Peak- July & August
Halibut: All season, but starts to slow down mid-August to September 1
